About us

The Indian Cacao & Craft Chocolate Festival is an initiative to bring the craft chocolate community together in India and educate consumers on Indian cacao and chocolate. The brand was founded after 5 years of exploring and connecting with cacao farms and chocolate makers from all over India and identifying the need to bring them together for better growth of this sector.

We believe that India grows amazing quality cacao thanks to its diverse landscape and intercropping system. We want to educate and raise awareness around Indian-origin chocolate by bringing the farms and chocolate makers closer to their consumers.

Patricia Cosma, a Romanian entrepreneur with a background in IT and real estate, found her way into a beautiful cacao journey in 2018. After visiting cacao farms and learning the craft of chocolate-making, she co-founded The Indian Cacao & Craft Chocolate Festival in 2022, collaborating with various farms and industry experts, and pouring out her efforts to uplift the craft chocolate community in India with notable events and projects across the country.

Ketaki Churi, a Mumbai University culinary studies graduate, began her career as a pastry chef before finding her way to artisanal chocolate. She mastered post-harvest processes of cacao and hosted 'tree-to-bar' chocolate-making workshops. She co-founded The Indian Cacao & Craft Chocolate Festival, passionately contributing to strengthen the artisanal chocolate space, and continuing her work in chocolate consulting and product development.

Sneha Sridhar started working in events at the age of nine as a performer and moved into creative a few years ago. Over the last eight years, she has worked (and continues to work) as an ESL teacher for children internationally. The combination of both has taught her to tell stories and create experiences people enjoy. Working on this festival brings together her love for events and her new passion for Indian cacao. She discovered the amazing work of Indian chocolate makers through her friend and now work partner, Patricia, a few years ago and is excited to help grow this festival and support the people behind India’s craft chocolate movement.
